Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 7, 2026
FieldFlow ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the FieldFlow mobile application (the "App").
By using FieldFlow, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
FieldFlow is designed to be a secure, offline-first field service tool. We prioritize data minimization and only request permissions strictly necessary for the App's core functionality.
- Camera and Photo Library Access: The App requires access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to capture and upload reference photos for task execution (e.g., documenting equipment status, logging maintenance work). These photos are stored locally on your device within the App's data container. We do not transmit, analyze, or share your photos to our servers without your explicit action (such as exporting a report).
- Local Application Data: Data regarding your tasks, steps, measurements, and work progress is stored locally on your device using Apple's native storage frameworks (e.g., SwiftData/CoreData).
- Usage Data: We do not track your personal usage behavior, nor do we use third-party analytics SDKs that harvest your personal data.
2. Data Storage and Syncing
Currently, FieldFlow operates primarily on your local device.
- Local Storage: Your work orders, photos, and measurement data remain on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device to prevent data loss.
- Cloud Sync (If Applicable): If your company uses a centralized server to dispatch tasks to FieldFlow, data will be transmitted securely over HTTPS to those specific servers. We do not intercept or store this proprietary business data on our own servers.
3. Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose your information only in the following situations:
- To comply with the law: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
- Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your local data remains on your device unless the app's backend architecture changes, which you will be notified of.
4. Security of Your Data
The security of your data is important to us. FieldFlow relies on iOS's native security sandboxing to protect your data. However, remember that no method of electronic storage on a mobile device is 100% secure. We recommend keeping your device secured with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, and keeping your iOS operating system up to date.
5. Children's Privacy
FieldFlow is a professional business-to-business (B2B) and utility tool. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
